Single Family Houses in Costa da Caparica

The design of the two semi-detached houses in Costa da Caparica stands out within a block filled with pre-existing buildings. Owned by a European Investment Fund and with a gross construction area of 1053 m², these villas have been designed to meet the current living needs of clients or for short-term tourism.

Integration into the Costada Caparica landscape

Building inside plots on the Costa da Caparica presented architecture with a new challenge.
This project attempts to demonstrate how it is possible to make the most of the available space without compromising functionality.
The villas are positioned on the plot to ensure privacy while at the same time being enveloped by the surrounding mountains.
. The integration of this project with its surroundings is evident in the choice of materials and the design of the façades. Using natural materials and curved lines, the houses balance out with the vegetation and the local topography.
The use of large windows and balconies allows natural light to fill the interior spaces, creating a sense of continuity between inside and out.
This creates a housing solution that offers a new contemporary, sustainable experience that can be explored in different ways.
